About this award

The aim of this scheme is to give the children of those who have died in the service of their country a head start in life by enabling them to obtain a university degree.

It consists of a maintenance grant of £4,950 and the full tuition fee (up to a maximum of £9,250).

This scheme is open to applicants whose parent died whilst serving in HM Armed Forces after 0001 on 1 January 1990.
