The Dalton International Scholarship aims to support the future leaders in science and engineering. It is a unique opportunity for prospective international students to develop academically and experience life in Manchester.

This £5,000* scholarship is open to international [non-EU] students commencing select full-time postgraduate courses in September 2020.

Applications for the Dalton International Scholarship for September 2020 entry are now open in the following Departments:

  • Department of Computing and Mathematics – five scholarships available
  • Department of Engineering – ten scholarships available
  • Department of Life Sciences – three scholarships available
  • Department of Natural Sciences – three scholarships available

You are eligible to apply for this Scholarship if you:

  • are an international (non-EU) self-funding student (classified as ‘overseas’ for tuition fee purposes)
  • have accepted an unconditional or a conditional firm offer for a course at the University**
  • are registered to complete all 180-credits (Recognition of Prior Learning will make you ineligible)
