About the scholarship

This award has been donated by the St Nicholas Educational Trust, whose aim is to ensure that young people from Newcastle upon Tyne can have the benefit of a good education. The Trust supports students coming to Newcastle University from Newcastle and the surrounding area.

Details

Four awards of £1,250 per year for three years of study are available.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this award you must:

• Be a stage one undergraduate student in any discipline;
• Eligible students are those who have been resident within the boundaries of Newcastle upon Tyne for five years or more. Postcodes include: NE1, NE2, NE3, NE4, NE5, NE6, NE7, NE12, NE13, and NE15.
